Why Barney’s Bites Was Created

Barney’s Bites was inspired by our beautiful XL Bully, Barney. He was prone to yeast infections and hair loss.

We couldn’t understand why we couldn’t get rid of these terrible infections. He continually suffered, with constant trips to the vet and hundreds of pounds spent. The prescriptions weren’t helping, and despite all the tests, they still couldn’t pinpoint what was causing the infections.

We decided to change Barney’s diet to see if it would make a difference. We started doing our research and were shocked at how many additives and preservatives were in dog food and treats. Could his diet be the cause of his problems?

As soon as we switched to a raw and all-natural diet, we were amazed at the difference in Barney’s fur and ears within days! After a couple of weeks, he no longer had patches of missing fur, and his ears had completely healed from the yeast infections.
